Started off as an elementalist, but my next char was a monk and I think I've been doing a pretty good job so far (been playing ritualist a lot lately though)

I play a Ranger best overall and a monk pve wise only as i haven't tried pvp yet. i'm also just starting to get the hang of sins and i guess i'm doing pretty well.

I'd have to say necro, but specifically ss necro, i'm not sure why, but I've never been very good when it came to minonmastering, it's not that I haven't had success with it, it's just I never feel as effective as I do when i'm playing my ss build. Second would have to be my elementalist, which I find to be odd as I've only just started her with the release of factions, but either i'm good or just lucky but as I've moved her through factions, I seem to get a fairly large number of master's rewards on missions. And only one of my parties was actively trying to get masters.

I follow the path of the Dead! Necro FTW!
My Necro is my favorite primary class. I have played him extensively with Monk, Elementalist, and Mesmer secondaries - all of which provide many fun possibilites. I'm thinking about giving the Ritualist secondary a try - get some added benefits from those minions!
I must say the Necro is very versatile (as well as fun!)
- Blood Spiker
- Minion Master
- SS or Curses flinger (I love seeing frustrated warriors!)
- Battery (An elementalists best friend.)
- Secondary healer (Gotta love that Power Well! Monks will love you!)
Whenever I go out with my guildies - they always request my Necro!
And you gotta love that dance........

Necromancer. First character made, thus played the longest. Did really well with the old school minion master (pre-Factions, but then, who couldn't do that?), doing quite well with a SS/Blood or SS/SV.
Assassin. Picked it up with the Factions preview event, learned in about three days that they don't tank, made some builds with that in mind and have done well since.

Monk, Ranger/Warrior/Elementalist, Mesmer/Necro, Assassin/Ritualist in that order...
I use monks, rangers, warriors and elementalist the most so I'm quite good with those.. the last 4 I don't use as often but I'm decent with the mesmer and necro. However, the sin and rt i don't really use so.. needa work on those..

How I would rank myself:
Ranger (I like to think I rule at that)
I like dual/punishing with preps.
Elementalist, Necro, Mesmer (decent)
Only "decent" because I haven't played those builds much for dps, more for support.
Warrior (not as good)
I understand most of who to hit and when, but not the "why".
Monk, Assassin, Ritualist (I SUXXOR)
Well, I'm a terrible monk, and haven't played more than 10 hours of A or Rt combined. Nuff said.

Mesmer.
I get a sadistic thrill whenever a Reversal of Fortune monk Backfires himself to death, or watching an assassin destroy his own attack combo by attacking through Diversion. Or delaying a ranger's grasping for hitpoints by smacking him with Psychic Distraction on his Troll Ungent. Ineptitude, Images of Remorse, Cry of Frustration. I love these beauties.

I've always been an ele, it's a support class and I don't like being relied upon too heavily but I can still deliver massive ammounts of damage and become a big influence in the outcome of both PvE and PvP battles (especially in alliance battles).
However, I'm starting to warm up to being a ranger, as I get to deal more physical damage and be the team's interrupter in some cases, which is always good fun, as is being a runner - being able to help people travel long distances through certain parts of the game.
